The Ambassador Experience
Nine months ago I was given an opportunity. I was given an amazing experience, “The Ambassador Experience!” I learned a lot from this and grew as a person, matured, and so much more.
The very first meeting:
In this meeting we learned about leadership and what it really meant to be an ambassador. It was an amazing bonding experience with my dance teacher and my two fellow ambassadors. This meeting really kicked off my training as an ambassador.
Assisting teachers / classes:
As part of being an ambassador I got to assist junior hip hop. Hip Hop is one of my all time favorite classes. I loved working with the kids, Learning combos with them, and helping them learn their recital dance. It was great seeing them improve and grow as dancers and I hope I can do it again next year.
The bake sale:
The bake sale was one of my favorite parts as an ambassador. My fellow ambassadors and I met up to discuss details of the bake sale and brainstorm ideas. We had a raffle basket and an awesome theme. We got to hand out flyers and brought in some locals. We raised almost $300.00 for the Dream Makers Foundation.
So overall, being an ambassador has been a crazy and amazing ride. I look forward to being able to continue this in the future. If you have the opportunity to apply as an ambassador I recommend that you do.
